Mrs A.D. (Audrey) Haas - JP 1st Vice President

Commissioned in Broome in 1978. Currently a member of the Fremantle Branch and Women Justices Association, having been President and Secretary on two occasions each of that Association. I have been a member of the Council for the past four year serving on Roster / Training and Journal Committees and Police Academy. I have been involved in our family business in the building and hospitality industry

Has served on executive Fremantle Branch currently Chairman Rules & bylaws member Finance committee former member of the Roster & training committee. Experience in Country Courts .currently Visiting Justice at Prisons. Active member on signing centres Past committees Apex, Lions, St.Johns

 

 


Mr P.F. (Philip) Timms - JP CD FCPA FCHSE CMC REGISTRAR

Appointed Registrar of The Royal Association of Justices of Western Australia (inc) on March 18 2004. Commissioned as a JP December 1978. Civil Marriage Celebrant. A career in health and accounting administration, commencing at the Fremantle Hospital in 1958. CEO positions in hospitals in country and metropolitan areas. Appointed Western Australian Divisional Director of the Australian Society of Accountants in 1985. Transferred to the Melbourne head office of the society in 1986 as a National Director. Duties at the Perth Watch House and previously on duty rosters at Perth Central Law Courts and the Fremantle District Court.


Mrs. J.R. (Judith) Gedero - JP

Appointed JP on 1 May 1992. Since retiring from full time work I have been actively involved with JP duties. I am currently a Duty Justice on roster at the Citizens Advice Bureau and have been for over 2 years. I also sit as a Member at the Central Law Courts. As well as JP duties 1 am a Councilor with the City of Subiaco. My interests are theatre, reading and golf


Mr R.T. (Ron) Kenda - JP

Appointed JP February 14 1997. Qualifications: BSc, DipEd, TC, THC. Membership Professional Bodies: MACE, AITEA, AAAE. Professional Background: Thirty two years in Education; nineteen years Manager TAFE. Nine years part-time secondment as tutor UWA. Involvement and service as JP: Prisons: IPV for Acacia and Wooroloo. Midland-Swan Branch: Training and Roster Officer. Rosters at: Curtin House; Family Courts; Midland Courts; Midland District Police. Court: Traffic and VRO at Midland and Central Law Courts


Mr L.A (Lionel) Rose - JP

 

Appointed JP April 2000. Current Council Member, Sub Editor of JP Journal. Responsible for binding last two years Association Journals, helped to design Web-page, Roster Co-ordinator Fremantle Court and signing Centre. CLC and Fremantle bench Justice. Rostered at Fremantle Court and Town Hall signing Centre. Past VP Parish Council and VP C.A.B.W.A. involved in various junior sports. I have the time, the enthusiasum (having achieved a great deal since joining the Council) to represent both Metropolitan and Country Association Members.


Mr G.W. (George) Styles - JP

Appointed JP July 1991. Member of the 80th State Council - 1997 1998. Member and past President of Rockingham/ Kwinana Branch. Previously performed bench duties at Central Law Courts, Joondalup, Rockingham in Traffic, Restraining Orders and Westrail Courts. Past rostered at East Perth Watchouse and Curtin House. Duties at Rockingham Skill Share and Rockingham Community Police roste. Past Co-ordinator Injured People Action and Support Group. Retired Director and Diesel Engineer. City and Fields Community Trainer


Mrs P.A (Trish) Mazzola - JP

 

Appointed JP June 1997. Since 2002 have been Support  Officer for her Honour Chief Judge Kennedy. Worked in District Court of Western Australia from 1996 - 2002. From my time in the Court system I have learnt to interpret and apply legislation as it applies to my position. Developed strong and clear communication skills through dealing with witnesses of the most vulnerable type. Highly organized person used to work within rigid time constraints


Mrs K.V (Kathleen) Heath - JP

 

Appointed JP July 1992. A member of the Women Justices' Association, Fremantle and Armadale Branches. Involved in Bail and Surety applications and Juvenile interviews at Banksia Hill and Rangeview Detention Centre. Rostered, Fremantle signing centre CLC Courts Fremantle and Perth, Traffic and VRO's. Chairperson South Metropolitan Education Department, Disciplinary Panel. Citizen of the year 2000 Melville Council.

 


Mr A. (Tony) Lazzara - JP

 

Appointed JP August 2005. Member of the Swan / Midland branch since September 2006. Currently Associate Director, Student Systems at Edith Cowan University (ECU), Held a variety of positions during my eleven years at ECU, including Faculty Manager. Casual Tutor and Operational Auditor. Also spent 10 years in State Public Service including three at the office of the Auditor General and six at the then Department of Transport. 


Mr J.B (John) Cox OAM - JP

 

Appointed JP 1979. Pat President and current Senior Vice President of the Swan Midland Branch. Nineteen years in Local Government - 10 years as Mayor of Bassendean. Freeman of the Town of Bassendean and Life Member of the Local Government Association. Life Member of the Returned Services League (RSL) - State Trustee. Current President Eastern Regional RSL Branch - Life Member - Australian Industry Defence Network Rotary - Paul; Harris fellow. Life Member, Bassendean Volunteer Fire Brigade. Awarded OAM 2002.
